Soroptimist International of Batangas Premier
Chartered: November 13, 2013​
Soroptimist International Batangas Premier (SIBP) was so named as it was
the first Soroptimist club in the province of Batangas, chartered on November 9, 2013. The charter members were a diverse group of 24 women, including entrepreneurs, bankers, young professionals, and housewives. Since then, SIBP has chartered three clubs: SI-Lipenas, SI-Batangas Downtown, and

About Us
These clubs formed the core that eventually became the MariVerde District,
now with 13 clubs under its wing. Since its inception, SIBP has garnered many awards
in the region, winning three consecutive Most Outstanding Club awards. At the young age of four years,
SIBP was inducted into the elite Hall of Fame of clubs that have shown consistent excellence in service to the Soroptimist mission and vision. Due to SIBP’s youthful energy and achievements, the SIAPR broke tradition by opening competition among the Hall of Fame clubs. SIBP was the 2017 SIA Federation Winner for the Live Your Dream Education and Training Award for Rochelle B. Villaflores and recently for Pawjia Bayani. Rochelle is now a certified licensed teacher. Under the SIA-funded Live Your Dream Awards (LYDA) for education and training and the SIAPR-driven Access to Education (ATE) scholarships in 2022-2023 alone, SIBP is supporting scholars from different schools.
During the same period, over 400 women and girls benefited from various skills and livelihood training and mentoring through other ATE initiatives, the Dream IT, Be It Career: Career Support for Women and Girls program, Adopt-A-Barangay, and Adopt-A-PNP-WCPD projects. SIBP is also one of the 2023-2024 Top Scholarship Grantors of the University of Batangas (UB). As of 2024, SIBP has 65 club members in good standing.
