Soroptimist International of Kalibo

Soroptimist International of Kalibo It was June 25, 1983 when Soroptimist International of Roxas came to Kalibo for the chartering of the Soroptimist International of Kalibo. No less than the Soroptimist International of Philippines Region (SIPR) founder, Mariquita S. Castelo and SIPR Charter Governor, Ms. Milagros Araneta-Villasor, graced the occasion where twenty-two (22) professional and business women in Kalibo were inducted as charter members. Manolita Q. Acevedo served as the Charter President.
In September 11, 2009, the club was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a Foundation, under then-SI Kalibo President and then SIAPR Governor Gabrielle Calizo-Quimpo. At present, SI Kalibo has many projects for the Biennium.
